Feb 08, 2024Sharing 20 lessons I've learnt from 20 years of teaching Pilates
I'm gonna keep this blog, short and simple. 20 simple lessons from 20 whole years.
Which 3 do you relate to the most? Send me an email, I'd love to hear.
- Take more holidays
- I’d never work night then morning!
- I’d appreciate myself more and acknowledge the good I’m doing & the wins I’m having
- Make more time for my training & things that fill my cup
- I would get a mentor or coach
- I would believe in myself sooner
- Spend less time worrying about the what ifs with my biz
- I would have written more email addresses down on paper! Haha showing my age here!
- Plan my down time better
- Be more structured & consistent
- I would allow myself to feel that money is good & it will bring me more clients, more holidays, more peace & comfort
- I would travel away for my trainings more or do online training, now that we have it, to meet new influences & groups of people all over the world
- Respect yourself first - Judgment from someone in the industry who's been around for longer or is older, don't let their negative or bitter judgment influence you.
- Create stronger boundaries sooner, if someone’s wiser and a good educator they will lift you up. Not make you feel inadequate, insecure or not enough. The journey is lonely enough without that loaded projection. Grateful for safe havens along the way.
- Do more, be more, see more, believe more. I think in the U.K. especially we play small. I’d go bigger & prouder.
- Do more trainings to feel more connected & less lonely
- I’d create time for me
- Celebrate milestones & wins along the way
- Keep going, but keep looking after you first (FLY)
- Do what you love
